Welcome!
I’m Maryam Misha, a Registered Occupational Therapist based in British Columbia, Canada. I’m passionate about empowering others to reach their full professional potential—especially internationally educated OTs navigating their path to practice in Canada.
Having successfully completed the SEAS process and all certification exams on my first attempt, I understand the challenges and value of the right guidance—particularly during the Competency Assessment (CA Exam) phase.
My journey spans Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Canada, where I’ve supported both children and adults and held leadership roles as a Therapy Team Lead, mentoring OTs across diverse healthcare settings.
I currently practice in Victoria, BC, specializing in Autism as a Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP). I’m also a Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist, a Registered Member of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), and certified by the University of Alberta in Critical Thinking, Reasoning, and Application in Canadian Occupational Therapy.
Through OT Gateway Coaching, I help internationally educated OTs build confidence, master the SEAS process, and thrive in their Canadian practice journey.
