Service Description

This 12-week online coaching program is designed to support Internationally Educated Occupational Therapists (IEOTs) preparing for Phase 3 of the ACOTRO SEAS process—the Competency Assessment (CA) Exam. The course includes weekly group sessions, curated self-study resources, targeted exam strategies, and a mock exam with personalized feedback. Build your clinical reasoning, confidence, and readiness to succeed in the CA exam and move one step closer to licensure in Canada. This course is provided by Maryam Misha, Clinical Director of Arise Therapy Collective and creator of the ARISE™ Regulation Framework. Maryam has been leading and supervising occupational therapists since 2014 and has practiced OT across three different countries and Canada, giving her a strong understanding of the nuances of occupational therapy practice across different healthcare systems and cultures. With over a decade of advanced clinical and leadership experience, Maryam’s coaching style is highly practical, case-based, and focused on strengthening clinical reasoning, professional communication, and the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in the CA exam and transition confidently into OT practice in Canada. Maryam completed advanced professional clinical training in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and the United States. She is also recognized as the only Occupational Therapist in Canada who is a Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist, Tomatis Method Practitioner, DBT-Certified Practitioner, and World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) registered.
